Come study with Rabbi Blake as we explore every twist and turn of the Torah's most unnerving, enigmatic and celebrated narrative. The ancient Rabbis added layers of meaning to this seminal text that we read on Rosh Hashanah, the story of Abraham's near sacrifice of his beloved son.

 

We will see how Midrash, the Rabbinic literature that forms an overlay for the Torah, reveals the worldview and history of the ancient Rabbinic community.  No Hebrew language knowledge is required.
