Grace Appelt joined Westchester Reform Temple in July of 2010. She was previously the Youth Director at Temple B’nai Torah, Wantagh,NY, where she ran two youth groups and taught in the Religious school. As an active participant in NFTY and temple youth groups as a teen, Grace continues to involve teens in the many leadership and social opportunities NFTY has to offer. Grace graduated from C.W. Post with a degree in music, majoring in cello and saxophone. During her time in college, Grace ran the youth choir at Community Reform Temple, Westbury, NY. After college, Grace spent most of her time performing and teaching music on Long Island and songleading for Long Island congregations. In 2008 Grace was a participant of the Aish Jewel Program and was a fellow of the Center for Israel Education – Israel Educators Fellowship in 2009/2010.
In her spare time Grace enjoys participating in Triathlons.
