Repairing the World

Tikkun Olam is the commitment to the ideals of our Jewish ethical heritage and to the prophetic work of meeting our responsibilities to our community, our nation and our world. The WRT community is devoted to making a difference.

Our Jewish year includes sharing with the needy - a Thanksgiving dinner for the visually impaired, Chanukah and Tu B’shvat parties for the developmentally disabled, and a Passover Seder for the elderly. Each monthly Board of Trustees meeting begins by preparing snacks for children in a homeless shelter, a reminder of the values that sustain our congregation.

From our youngest Early Childhood Center students to learners in our Religious School to members of our adult community, we come together to help our neighbors and the world.
