Shabbat Shirah: The Sabbath of Song
and an Evening of Jewish Folk, Tango, Jazz and Global music at Westchester Reform Temple
Westchester Reform Temple's annual Shabbat Shirah (Sabbath of Song) will take place on Friday, February 3, beginning at 6:15 pm, featuring, as in past years, Rabbi Dario Feiguin and musicians from his synagogue in Buenos Aires, Comunidad Amijai. He will be joined for the first time this year by renowned musicians Pablo Aslan, on string and acoustic bass, Margot Leverett on clarinet, and JP Jofre on bandoneon.
As with all Friday evenings, an oneg will be available for all WRT congregants and guests following services. We can no longer accept reservations for the Community Shabbat Dinner since final numbers had to be given to the caterer on Wednesday.
This team of incredible musicians will also perform later in the evening as part of a musical oneg. The program will include Jewish Folk, Tango, Jazz and Global music. This portion of the evening is scheduled to begin at 8:45 pm.
