Sharon Stiefel

 

Sharon Stiefel joins Westchester Reform Temple as the Director of Social Impact and Community Engagement  after serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department since 2006.  Prior to attending law school, Sharon served as a Staff Executive at the Women of Reform Judaism.  Throughout her career, Sharon has been committed to applying her Jewish values to serve the public interest and leave the world a better place.

As an active member of her synagogue, Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester, she served as Chair of many committees including the Gala, the Social Justice Committee, and the Early Childhood Center Mitzvah Committee.

Sharon received her B.A. at Binghamton University and her J.D. at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.  She and her husband (Spencer) live with their two children in Chappaqua, NY.
