WRT’s Caring Community provides support and friendship during times of crisis and life transitions and lifts up the joyful moments of our congregation’s simchas. Activities include writing bereavement and congratulatory notes, delivering yahrzeit candles, and making phone calls. Support groups are also available to provide guidance, discussion, and community for our members. Learn more.
This group honors families and individuals who have been WRT members for eighteen (chai) years and beyond. New members are inducted each November at a Friday evening service and are invited to attend a variety of programs throughout the year.

This committee keeps our community’s college-age students connected to WRT. Activities include providing Chanukah gift packages and Passover treats, sponsoring reunions, and promoting correspondence and interaction with the clergy. Even in this difficult time when our WRT kitchen is closed, our Cooking4Hope team still provides meals for participants of HOPE Community Services in New Rochelle. Reach out to volunteer your time to bake or to pack lunch and snack bags. This parent committee works closely with the director of WRT’s Early Childhood Center to build a strong community and help provide experiences for young children and their families that support Jewish values and traditions. Family Mitzvah Corps is a community of families engaging in hands-on social action work together. Through monthly community service opportunities, parents and children have the opportunity to come together to interact with the broader world. Learn more.

At Shabbat and festival services, greeters help to create a warm and welcoming environment for members and guests, from guiding worshippers to their seats to supporting those requiring assistive listening devices and large print prayer books.
